The objective is to promote ACTIVE involvement as well as prayer and financial support for these needs and opportunities in the GAPP Partners’ sphere of influence. The following people serve using their skills, time and resources and enable us to reach many more people than we could alone.


Carol Argo serves SAM Ministries as the child sponsorship coordinator for Mozambique. Her ministry involves the coordination of individuals who wish to sponsor a child in Mozambique to enable the child to attend school, receive school supplies, clothing, health care and nutrition. Most importantly Carol’s work enables children who desperately need help to be connected to a compassionate person able and willing to provide that help. Carol says, “I really enjoy the work!”
Carol lives in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada and is an active member of her local church.


Gary Hillman, owner and operator of Hillman Air and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in Red Deer, Alberta Canada, has graciously served SAM Ministries over the past 6 years by taking responsibility for the tracking and annual maintenance requirements of the SAM Ministries’ aircraft based in Mozambique. Gary has made the time to travel to South Africa each year as necessary and personally inspect the aircraft and ensure that maintenance done is done in accordance with Canadian regulations. Gary and Barb Hillman are committed Christians and active members of their local church in Red Deer.


Dwaine Grynke is a chartered accountant and serves SAM Ministries by providing in-house auditing and submission of returns to the Canadian Revenue Authority. His professional competence and experience is a huge blessing to the team.


Russell Lagore who is presently enrolled in the University of Alberta electrical engineering co-op program (second year) provides promotional and IT support for SAM Ministries. Although Russell’s study schedule means time is precious and money is even more precious, he has willingly served to enable us to better communicate the development and needs of the ministry. He has a unique perspective having lived 11 years in rural Mozambique. This helps him communicate needs he has seen and touched.


Wally and Lil Fletcher serve SAM Ministries by providing printing assistance as well as a catering service to the SAM Ministries’ annual banquet. Wally and Lil are known by many ministries and organizations, including SAM Ministries, as people who are willing to take action to help and serve in any way they can.
