The futility of trying to do God’s work without consulting Him or involving Him or better yet, inviting Him to help seems obvious. But so often we forget that God’s work is us! We are the object of His love and He longs for contact and relationship with us. As we take the time to reach out and touch our Heavenly Father who is constantly reaching out to touch us, we connect with His love and His passion and His purposes for the world around us. As we connect with Him about the things He is clearly concerned about, we partner in changing our world His way, with His means and in His time.
