What we do
SAM Ministries empowers communities in Mozambique and Brazil that have been trapped in poverty for generations. Through healthcare, education, skills training, and spiritual discipleship, we equip individuals to overcome challenges, realize their potential, and break the cycle of poverty. By sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in word and action, we foster transformation that impacts entire generations.

Our Work in Brazil
We operate two Christian schools in Itaperucu and Caçador, providing children with quality, Christ-centered education in a supportive and loving environment. These schools not only offer academic instruction but also instill values that help students develop strong character and leadership skills.
To engage at-risk youth, we run a sports outreach program in our indoor futsal stadium, offering a positive alternative to drugs, alcohol, and crime while introducing them to an abundant life in Christ.
Our dental clinic, staffed by nine volunteer dentists, provides essential care to both the rich and poor, ensuring that even the most vulnerable have access to treatment.
Through our local church, we provide a place for worship, discipleship, and community service. Volunteers from our church extend outreach efforts as far as the Amazon River basin, offering medical and dental care to remote communities. Locally, we provide housing for the poor, counseling services, food for the hungry, and emergency relief during natural disasters.
Our Work in Mozambique
Mozambique is one of the world’s poorest nations, where extreme poverty leaves families without basic necessities. We address this through several life-changing initiatives:
Christian Education & Sponsorship – Our school and sponsorship program support children from preschool to post-secondary education, offering them hope and a pathway to a brighter future.
Orphan & Widow Program – We provide food, healthcare, education, and housing for vulnerable individuals, empowering them to grow in Christ and contribute to their communities.
Feeding Program – Thousands of meals are provided to malnourished children, ensuring they receive the nutrition essential for growth and development.
Healthcare Services – Our two clinics treat thousands suffering from malaria and other common diseases, saving lives and alleviating suffering.
Baby Milk Formula Program – Many children lose their mothers in childbirth, and this program provides life-saving nutrition to ensure their healthy development.
Women’s Literacy Program – By teaching reading and writing, we empower women to break the cycle of poverty and disease, creating stronger families and communities.
Bible & Leadership Training – Many local leaders lack financial resources for formal training. We equip and mentor thousands of pastors and leaders, strengthening churches and communities.
Sustainable Agriculture – To improve food security, we provide farmers with cattle, plows, oxcarts, and manual irrigation pumps. When livestock reproduce, farmers pass on animals to others, expanding the impact of the program.
Aviation – We currently operate a Cessna 182 from our 900-meter runway and hangar facility based on the mission in Manica. This greatly expands our reach and improves logistic support to our mission and others we serve.
