Help feed hundreds of malnourished students and children in Mozambique
Help provide 5700 meals per week to hungry infants, children, orphans and widows.
Our 2026 campaign has launched!
We need your help!
We provide 5700 meals per week to hungry infants, children, orphans and widows.
Maize meal prices (the staple we use to feed all our kids) continue to rise.
This year, we need to purchase 4000 bags of corn.
Funds must be in place by mid-September to avoid a shortfall that could lead to an emergency.
Your support doesn’t just feed children — it gives them a future!

Each unit represents 10 bags of corn.
*4000 bags of corn is equivalent to the $100,000 needed to keep our feeding program going in the coming year. While much of the food purchased will be corn, there will also be beans, milk, milk formula and supplies for fruit and vegetable production purchased. For tracking purposes, we will use bags of corn.

SAM Ministries has been feeding malnourished people in Mozambique for over 20 years.
For more than 20 years, the SAM Ministries Feeding Program has been providing life-saving nutrition to malnourished children, widows, and vulnerable families in Mozambique. This ministry has grown because of God's faithfulness and the generosity of partners like you.
For the past six years, Steps to Stop Hunger has been the primary fundraiser supporting this vital work. Each year, as the need has grown, God has faithfully provided through generous donors, allowing us to meet—and often exceed—our fundraising goal.
Today, our feeding program provides approximately 5,700 meals every week to people facing hunger and malnutrition. Each year, we purchase 60 tonnes of corn, 10 tonnes of beans, milk, infant formula, and agricultural supplies to sustain the program. Our own production also plays a vital role in improving nutrition. In 2025 alone, the mission harvested nearly 14 tonnes of fresh fruits and vegetables for those we serve.
This summer, our goal is to raise $100,000 through Steps to Stop Hunger to ensure this life-changing ministry continues. Every dollar raised will help provide essential food supplies and support the production of fresh fruits and vegetables for the coming year.
With your help, we can reach our goal, continue to feed hundreds of malnourished people in Mozambique, and bring lasting hope through the love of Christ.
