The Urgent Need

In rural Mozambique, most families survive on less than $2 a day, with little access to healthcare or clean water. High rates of malaria, TB, and HIV/AIDS, combined with frequent droughts and floods, make survival even more challenging. Limited transportation further restricts access to medical care, creating a critical health crisis.

To combat these challenges, our health program focuses on two key areas:

1. Basic Treatment of Illnesses

Our rural health posts, staffed by trained community health workers, provide essential care for malaria, diarrhea, respiratory infections, skin diseases, and malnutrition. These workers receive ongoing training and support, ensuring the best possible care in difficult conditions. They are also backed by consultations with top international doctors and medical professionals.

2. Health Education & Disease Prevention

We empower communities through:

• Community Health Training – Health workers teach disease prevention and hygiene at clinics, community meetings, and schools.

• Leadership Training – We equip church and community leaders with life-saving illness prevention and intervention strategies, extending our impact to areas with no other healthcare support. Additionally, we offer critical advice and consulting services to bring much-needed relief.
